Terms and Conditions of Sale

Please note that anyone bidding at Degre Auction Services is expected to agree to the following terms and conditions of sale.
If you do not understand any of these terms or conditions,
please ask a staff member for clarification before registering.
1. All buyers must have a bidding number and shall supply Degre Auction Service with their name, address and phone number.
A form of picture identification is required to verify information given.
2. The highest bidder shall be the buyer at the hammer price and
any dispute shall be settled at the Auctioneer's ABSOLUTE discretion.
3. The Auctioneer has the right at his absolute discretion to refuse any bid
and to advance the bidding as he may decide.
4. There may be minimums placed on some items.
And the auctioneer at his absolute disgression, may pass on an item, for any reason.
5. ALL LOTS ARE SOLD " AS IS "," WHERE IS "
WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS
AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL !
6. All lots are to paid for in full, by cash, approved check, MasterCard, Visa or Debit card , at the close of the auction.
The Auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise
until a buyer's check clears.
There will be a $25.00 handling fee charged EACH TIME a check is returned from the bank, for any reason!
7. There is a 10 % Buyer's Premium on all purchases.
8. Vermont Sales Tax will be paid on (a) The Hammer Price, and (b) The Buyer's Premium,
unless the buyer provides the Degre Auction Service with a valid Resale Certificate at the time of registration.
9. The property in a lot shall be at the buyer's risk in all respects,
after winning the lot at the drop of the hammer or shout of " SOLD " !
10. NO LOT MAY BE TAKEN FROM THE Degre Auction Building
UNTIL PAYMENT IS MADE.
11. All lots must be taken away at the buyer's expense by Wednesday,
the week after the auction.
Lots not removed by this time may be subject to a $1.00 per day storage fee, PER LOT PURCHASED,
and after 30 days shall be forfeited to Degre Auction Services
and resold at their disgression, without compensation,
UNLESS PREVIOUS ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE!
12. Any representation or statement by ANYONE, as to authorship, attribution, genuineness , origin, date, age, provenance, condition, or estimated selling price ,of anything , is a statement of that person's opinion only.
The Degre Auction Service, nor it's staff are responsible for the correctness of such opinions.
Each person should exercise and rely on their own judgment, as to such matters.
13. All measurements and sizes are approximate.
14. Degre Auction Service will not be held negligent or responsible for any injury or loss ,
to persons or property , by accident or design,
caused by anything or anyone, for any reason on their property .
